my new screen has "waves"

Thread Starter
Hey, just bought a new LCD screen and i can see some "waves" on it and i saw on a site that you can get those if the screen is connected with a VGA cable which mine is, the problem is that my screen doesnt have HDMI or DVI input.
is this a VGA problem?
or what is the problem?
how do i fix it?
i can only see the "waves" while having a white background or browsing the internet.
they get worse if i look upwards to the monitor like if i lean back in my chair or fixing something on the floor

screen is a Benq G2025HDA

¨Hold your horses

Try switching to a different VGA cable first.

same thing with this system, ive reformatted more times than you've had dinner.

Also have you tried going into the monitor menu and fiddling with "Fine" and "Coarse" or "Image Effect" ???

To much Coarse or Fine will create this "Wavy" effect that my monitor 1st had.
