Tegra 2 is clearly faster.
actually the orion has a much better gpu than the tegra 2. i read an article about it a while back, and apparently the tegra 2 is 3rd place to the new snpadragon and orion gpu's.

You keep saying 9x. Remember its 9x in a perfect situation, in the right weather and when angels are singing down to it.

Until proper benchmarks are done I won't believe a word Apple says because they're blantant liers.

Personally, I'm not getting into the tablet craze, with all that money i could get a much better rig. I also want to update my phone in the near future (BB storm -> Android powered phone). With a good phone, tablets still seem pointless to me. if I had to get one, it would be the Xoom. Android based so it's much more open and the hardware is that much better.

You wouldnt have a consumer tablet at all if Apple wasn't around to push the concept on consumers. Your cell phone would likely be vastly different as well.

That's a pretty wild claim, seeing as how they were recently bought out by HP.

Keyword: Recently.

Back before the iPhone was released, Palm was doing things with monochrome touch-screens. =P

The Asus Eee Slate EP121 gets my vote. It boasts a i5 470um processor, and Windows 7 HP 64. It appears to be the most powerful tablet on the market as of yet (although I may be mistaken).

Quote:
* 12.1" capacitive multi-touch IPS display 1280x800
* Intel Core i5 470UM processor
* 64GB/32GB solid state drive
* Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
* 4GB/2GB DDR3
* High-speed wireless N and Bluetooth v3.0
* Up to 4.5 hours of battery life
* Mini HDMI
* USB 2.0
* 2.0 megapixel webcam

Very impressive stats, though its battery life does fall a little short of the competition.

That seems like a pretty decent display. The downside is that the battery life just isn't there...

That's pretty disappointing for the Galaxy Tab 10.. No microSD slot? Not very useful as an Android tablet, if that basically makes it semi-closed, unless it can be flashed through USB..

With a Wacom Digitizer at $1000, it's pretty much best value for a Drawing Tablet considering that a Cintiq is desktop only and costs about the same.

And that a real Tablet PC costs about $200 more than that.
