New graphics card (Upgrading from 5750)

Thread Starter
Hello forum.
Id like to ask for an advice on new gfx card.
My PSU is 500W Fortron/Source. Current card is 5750 wich is a 128bit piece of **** and I would like to upgrade into something that I will really feel the difference with. I also want to stay with the current PSU so tell me guys am I limited to this piece of **** 5750 or can I put something like 6850 wich I was thinking about. Will there be no problem with the PSU ?
Or any other better suggestion ?

Let me know.

6850 will be fine @ 500w (many gpus are)...but I'm not so sure about the build quality of that PSU.

how much money you got?

you can get 5850 or 6870 they are about the same, 6850 is lesser than 5850, but it is fine too
in my sig you can see how much wattage each card consumes
you won't have problems with your psu

Antec NeoEco 400w will power an i5 2500k, GTX 560 Ti, HDD, Optical, and Case fans...

You might get away with two 6850s on a NeoEco 400w...

Will there be any other card then 6850 that would be better then 6850 and will be fine with 500W PSU ?

Or 6850 is my only choice now ?

What about 6870 ? Or is it the same as 6850 ?
