Welp, for a while now I have been trying to figure out weither I should use my money saved for a new rig on BD or 1100T..

According to those benches, I am probably going to go BD...

Why is the x4 965 no performance boost to the T1100? I dont understand..

The question is... will my x4 bottleneck higher end GPU's if I decide to SLI?

The 1100T will be significantly faster in applications that utilize all 6 cores, of which there are few. There is not much reason to buy an 1100T over a 965 currently, other than epeen.

Applications barely utilize 2 cores let alone 6 cores. If you really want a performance boost best thing to do would be to see how Bulldozer pans out against Sandy Bridge. Make the decision after that.

but that's comparing a traditional quad with a hexa- that has 12 virtual threads..... not a relevant comparison
