Absolutely agree +1

Ok, What would be the best CPU now for crossfire 6850? I'll have about $250 to spend on a processor/motherboard. Or should I wait for the new AMD bulldozer series to come out?
In case your wondering I will most likely be playing games like Battlefield 3. (if you haven't noticed my avatar)

I would look around for a Sandy Bridge CPU though trying to find that and a new mobo for $250 could be a bit difficult. You might be able to find some deals in the For Sale section of the forums though as long as you don't mind used items. The I5/I7 Sandy Bridges destroy everything AMD has.
Waiting for Bulldozer to come out wouldn't be a bad idea either. May force Intel's prices lower and may bring some good performance to the table. Hard to say until it's released though.
And I'm not entirely sure on the release date, but you might even be able to wait for Ivy Bridge which should force Sandy Bridge prices down even more.

The time in which I would buy it (when I have enough money) would be around late summer/early fall. Maybe the bulldozers will be out by then. I've had AMD all of my life so I probably won't switch to intel yet.
