Hi im using a gtx 285 right now. I want a upgrade to a dx11 card that will max out dragon age 2, battle field bad company 2, and crysis 2.

Im looking for something that will give me noticeable fps increase in my current games also like metro2033 and crysis.

Your card is equal with a 460 so anything above their will be n increase. But, for it to warrant the cost, I would say 6950 and above or GTX 470 or above

You consider this cheap?

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...-373-_-Product

Note site must ship to Canada and it usually costs 100$ more compared to American prices.

metro2033 will probably go down in FPS due to DX11 support..

unless u look at a 480/570/580

on that site...

the 570 is cheaper then the 480 and should perform the same in most cases

I would normally recommend the 570 due to the fact it runs cooler...

but i have seen alot of them die as of late...

so i would probally try to stear clear

So... 480 or 580 would be the 2 i would look at personally if i was in your situation...

i mean i year ago i was.. but the 580 and 570 weren't out back then lol

i only said that in metro 2033 the FPS will go down...

Due to the game being a DX11 game.. and requiring more 2 run when running in dx11

otherwise they will go up...

also.. i upgraded from a 285 to a 480...

the FPS in crysis did go up... but only to 40 fps..

and before you say CPU Bottleneck...

with 2x480s it went to 81FPS...

anyways...

i will have a look around for some better prices on the 480 on ca sites
