570 SLI Artifact

Hey guys,

I got two eVGA 570's (super clocked), I played Crysis 1 and got to about 4th chapter or so and now when I play I see this damn Red Flashing all over my screen. Sometimes it goes away but mostly stays. Even when I restart the game... it is still there even in the menu. Only booting the PC helps, but it comes back again.

I also noticed it today when I was playing Dead Space 2... it only flashed for about 2-3 seconds and went away. This was only one time, but now I am concerned.

What could this be?

Also, I have both cards in PCI Express x16/x16, which are next to each other.
They run quite hot (85-95).

Help!

Thanks!

Hmmm.... that's quite hot for that card, maybe they are overheating. try to put a fan to push air in-between them and try again.

They are only Factory OC'ed.

I didn't adjust anything in the eVGA Precision yet. So, all of the settings and card speeds are at Factory settings.

GPU 1 gets up to 92-98 Degrees and GPU 2 goes at 82 when all fully loaded.

thats super HOTTTTT
my 470 never reaches that hot as said in post before
what speed is the fan at
there supposed to be alooot cooler than the 400 series
like others have said have you set up a fan profile
if not i usually start at 40% then it raises 1% for every 1c
at 80c its 100%
Before i changed my fan profile mine got nice and toasty while gaming, adjust your profile then get back to us.

set fan control in precision to 85% and you will be fine, temps are your issue.

I run my vanilla cards at SC speeds with 85% fan no problems and rarely goes over 65c.
