[1up] GDC 2011: The Next Generation of Games, According to Epic

The following shots are, as Epic's Mark Rein told us today, the company's "love letter to hardware manufacturers." In other words, this is what Epic sees as the next next generation of graphics. Technically developers who use Unreal can play with this tech next month, though it would take a pretty beefy computer to run what you see here in real time (the demo we just saw requires three graphics cards).

A public video demonstration will be released later next week and will show off some of the new features Epic Games have been promising (DirectX 11, etc.).

That actually looks really good. Especially the shadows and lights/reflections. Not including the huge texture improvements.
