It only needed 3 graphics cards. You can't ask for more optimization than that can you?

Coporate Mindset: Won't be a reason to do the upgrade to the next console after that one. Just dangle it a little bit to get them anticipating.......

Yea I'm curious why they brought this up. A 'billboard' simply refers to a mesh or texture that is always camera facing along at least 1 of its axes. Making a billboard show up in a reflection isn't anymore difficult than any other mesh in a reflection.

In fact, most particles are billboarded, so seeing any particles in a reflection would be the same thing.

Also it seems the reflection for the XXX billboard doesn't seem correct.
EDIT: Looks as if it reflects the lights from the XXX billboard, but the XXX pattern itself (the mesh with XXX cut out of it), isn't part of the reflection.

Regardless, it looks very nice, can't wait to see this level of quality mainstream.

Maybe this will push the console makers to new hardware... it'll still be awhile.

For some reason im not that satisfied when i compare these to current pc games.
I remember those early pictures and videos from Unreal Engine 3. It was jaw dropping.

I guess this means that it might a good time to buy a new graphic card later this year.
