question for gurus ----update fix: Android SDK / ADB / Odin

Thread Starter
my phones:
(tmo vibrant / gt-i9000 HK version)

In the past, ive always used Android SDK/ADB to push/pull files, put my phone into recovery/download mode, and use Odin to install roms.

Since updating Android SDK to version 8+, it seems the platform tools/directory files got moved around and now my ADB commands do nothing.

Anyone have a tutuorial or tips to fix this?
Been searching XDA-Dev but cant seem to get a straight answer/solution.

example:

cd C:\\androidsdk\ools
adb reboot recovery
adb reboot download

daemon does not run

I think adb is moved into folder called platform tools.
Also, I had to update my SDK through the program that came with the zip.

How are you using ADB? Do you CD into the directory, or do you have a PATH set? Either way, adb has moved, and you either need to CD into the new folder (can't remember what it is), or update your path variable to the new folder.
