I'm losing appreciation for Valve, with the whole lack of Half Life EP:3, and no news or information about it AT ALL since saying they'd released the episodic games really quickly... (a lie clearly).
Codemasters are quite good, I guess DICE also.
Creative Assembly I used to love, then Empire Total War wasn't great in the same way Rome and Medieval 2 had been, but hopefully Shogun 2 will be excellent (not going to pass judgement just on the demo).
GasPowered Games I did like with SupCom 1 and FA, but then Supcom 2 was awful, truly selling out and pandering to the consoles by simplifying and generalising the gameplay, taking away the uniqueness that made Supcom 1 the best RTS I'd ever played (bar maybe Age of Empires 2...)
Basically I like any dev that appreciates the PC, and even if they develop a console version they'll go out of their way to add and enhance the PC version, if only a bit, instead of just porting it *enough* so it works on PC
