Help with my parts list?

Thread Starter
This is my first time building a computer, and after a couple weeks of research, I decided to put it here as a final-check for crappy/incompatible parts before I buy any parts.

This computer is meant to be a mid-budget computer that can do basic functions and run games (Not necessarily extremely demanding games at best graphics, but run them decently)
Case: $55 Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

PSU: $60 CORSAIR Builder Series CMPSU-600CX 600W ATX12V v2.3 Active PFC Power Supply

Mobo: $75 ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: $90 AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - C3 Revision HDZ555WFGMBOX

Hard-Drive: $28 Recertified Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS-FR 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

GPU: $65 HIS H467QR1GH Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

RAM: $40 G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS

DVD/CD Reader and writer: $20 LG DVD±RW SuperMulti Drive Black SATA Model GH22NS50B - OEM

Sub-Total: $433
Tax/SH: $14
Rebates: $25

Grand Total: $422.

OH: And a mobo speaker because apparently the parts I'm buying won't include it:

What do you mean a "mobo speaker"?

Also, a couple questions. What's your budget? And what resolution would you be gaming on?

I'm guessing resolution being around 1920x1200 at most.
(I'm coming from 1024x768 or something like that)

And the mobo speaker for beep codes.

Spend $5 extra on Team Xtreem memory (custom builds shouldn't be using generic prebuilt memory). Better yet this $55, $35 AR PNY RAM if you don't mind rebates
See if you can get a better mobo. Don't expect to unlock safely/reliably on that board
Galaxy GT 430 is better for the price than a 4670
Mobo speaker = for POST beep
Ah. I suppose I'm probably missing that on my system as well. Oops

I would get an Athlon II X3 instead of that Phenom II X2. Practically the same performance as the Phenom II's but a good bit cheaper.

Use the money you save on the CPU for a GPU.
Like one of these:
XFX HD 4850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150482
Open Box Asus GTS 450 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814121393R
You could also check out some deals in the for sale section of the forums on here if you don't mind used parts.

Ok.
I'm replacing my Phenom II X2 555 with the Athlon II X3 445.
Also, I'm replacing my GPU with XFX HD-567X-ZNF3 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR5 for $75 after rebate (Hopefully it goes as planned)
Overall price change: +$7

Thanks
And as Rabbit said, don't get the 5670. The 4850 easily beats it and is only a dollar more.

Whhoops. Didn't notice the extra bandwith and processors.
My bad, I'm new with this
Changed

Also, is the extra $20 worth getting the new USB and SATA connections when I'm still using USB 2.0 and SATA 2.0 (3gb/s)?
