Er isn't it the idea to reduce packing reduce waste to some extent? Ok tree hugging over, as far as gimmicks go that is cool but 4+2 phases + paper box = BOOM.

Ha ha. I've used wood plenty of times to build temp cases. I think this is a great idea. -Laughs.- Good job Asus. And as for Redneck servers? I just saw hundreds of these boxes stacked on top of each other in the basement of some rednecks house. -Laughs.-

I dont see an issue with this..your not talking about a full size ATX mobo in there, the heat is going to be minimal and the CPU (only part that really makes heat here) is no where near touching the cardboard. Its useful as a test bench. This is not intended to be a long term case solution just to get you up and running ASAP. I doubt we will see them sold in the USA. ASUS is a great company and I use there products for all of my current builds. Keep up the good work ASUS.

Its a cool idea nevertheless.

My mistake on the whole grounding thing. Its still gonna spew radiowaves all over the place though since the box doesn't act like a cage.

Solution: Duct tape aluminum foil onto the box! Whoo!

(But seriously, it'd be funny to see someone try that lol)

For the record, neither do test benches. That doesn't make them illegal to sell though.
