Hi all.
I am in need of some help with water cooling my sig rig. So far this is my shopping cart:

I will be using this guide to use fan housings as the shroud/s.
I will also be adding 2x full graphics card blocks (HD6970's) at a later date.

Please give me some input!
Thanks in advance,
Gibs

Well that would be fine for a CPU, but for two graphics cards your definitely gonna need more rad power. like another 240 rad at minimum or a 360 and a 240 together.

I can fit 2x 240's in my case plus a 120. Would the three put together with an extra pump be sufficient?

looking good so far

try ordering from PeformancePCs or FrozenCPU

those prices are a little high. like the compression fittings, you can get those at PPC for 7.95 and you can get that res for 10 dollars cheaper

Yes I am in Australia and it sucks. Not that many places sell "performance" PC parts so there isn't much competition = higher prices.

Those are actually good prices for Australia. Have you looked at koolroom at all? They have a good selection of watercooling parts, although in my experience are a little more expensive that pccasegear. You list looks good, and 2x240 + 120 will be plenty for a CPU and two GPUs. I would get these fans even though they are expensive.

The GT AP-15s are very nice fans although at the price (eek) I got mine for 15 USD.

And yikes on that case CM did an aweful job on taking pics on that case hard to see a good wc set up in it. Hmm seems like you can at least get a 240 as they advertised maybe another 120 in there some here where you can squeak in that extra 240 is beyond me cause it looks like the mobo sits high in the case. unless you get a slim 240 in the top.

Personally I would look at a case upgrade because things may get a little cramped with that case mid sized cases get crammed with tubing and rads really quick.

I would look at a RASA RX rad they work really well with AP-15 GT fans. Also the pump works well you may look to the 655 its a bit cheaper but quieter I think the 655 could handle your loop fine with 2 gpu blocks. But I again highly recommend looking to a full tower case.

The 655 is not cheaper? Well not that I can find in Australia. But I was considering it from the start. Well looks like Im going to have to save up some more first and get a full case.

Lol sorry forgot to compare the AUD to the USD although they should be pretty close these days with the commodity markets the way they are anyways.... Yea the 655 is a very solid pump I know there are some people who are shying away from the 355 due to noise issues. Took me a few months to save the cash for my build but budgeting is a wonderful thing.
