Some things are just plain obvious, like the fact that Duke Nukem Forever is both violent and raunchy. After all, isn't that why the man has gained such a massive following even after all these years of sitting on the sidelines?
So we go into DN Forever well aware of the content matter, but that doesn't make the ESRB synopsis any less amusing. The American classification board posted a rating summary for the game just recently, and if the unusually long list of descriptors weren't hilarious enough, there's the actual synopsis mapping out all the things that earned Duke an 'M' rating.
The first part of the massive paragraph mentions the "over-the-top instances of violence," which involves sequences like "aliens getting stabbed in the head or impaled; a human soldier bursting into bloody gibs after being tossed through propeller blades." Not surprisingly, more than half of the summary addresses the game's sexual content, and the descriptive text reads almost like crappy paperback novel -- or really good fanfiction.
