obviously it sucks because you're trying to run 1920x1080 on a 9600 GSO heck it doesn't even have enough memory to support that res. get something in the highend 200 series or the mid to high end 400 series whenever you try to play ANYTHING with the word "crysis" in it

this, and it lacks recoil. i've been "sniped" across the map by people with good aim and a scar that it's so annoying! how can u shoot across the map with an assault rifle or machine gun. ridiculous.

you still need vsync for 120 Hz because it gets rid of tearing which seems to be present in all situations.

I'm in favour of game balance as much as the next guy, but the Crysis 2 maps are not so large that it should be impossible to accurately shoot across them with an assault rifle or machine gun. If you want games to tailor their weapons that much, play games like Unreal Tournament or Quake, where it clearly has nothing to do with the real world.

never touched those games that u mentioned so i don't know how they are but they definitely have worse graphics than crysis 2

ok by across the map i mean like in the map where there's 2 buildings (pier 17?), one main, one is just crumbling wood. and i was at the window and the other guy was at the window and he shot me to death. at that distance.
i still think that the combat system of crysis 1 is better than 2.

Where's the PC version if it exists? Where? We are playing the console version of the demo. Who cares how the engine works, the end result is a ported demo. The singleplayer maybe different, but if this was made on a PC first, we should have received a dedicated PC demo.

NO this is just wrong it is a port the hardware and software is completely different across all three platforms. Either you ment to say port or you misunderstand what scaling means in terms of software devlopment.

If that's the case then controller support or not, the DEMO should have shown 'Press any key to continue' on the console released versions of the game.
Yeah, except the demo was intended for the Xbox 360 market. Therefore, it was designed with them in mind until the PC market complained. So a couple weeks before the retail release, they gave us what they had, which is a demo made for Xbox 360. It was meant to entertain us for a few weeks, not (as a demo should be) to showcase all the tech and give us something to judge it by.

You must not have watched the demonstration that showed how the game was designed and tested. They could make the game on the pc, and the console equivalent was simultaneously created on each console. This meant they made the game once, ON a PC, FOR a PC, and its downscaled counterparts were console-adapted.

In all honesty, we're in the minority here guys. Do I want DX11? Heck yes, but the fact remains that most people don't know or care what dx is. They just install whatever comes with the game. Those same people are probably still rocking ATI 3000 or 4000 series cards or Nvidia 8800 series.
