Afaik, the HIS at amazon are rev1, and they're 260 AR. MSI and XFX have are shipping rev2, and well obviously PCS now.

UPDATE*** just talked to a powercolor rep and they said that the card does unlock... Only the PCS++ will, I gave them the model number and they verified. He said that you need to be running the latest version of cpuz for this show up. Also when you switch the bios you have to reinstall the drivers for the bios to switch correctly... Please someone with this card test this. He was very curtain these are guaranteed to unlock shaders, but will not 'flash'

Im sure they have the dual bios switch. Thats an advertised feature, and even on their website. Instead of QQing, wait for the card to come first and see, and then make threads like this. Are you sure the review is of the PCS++ and not the regular PCS? Because the regular one has a bios swtich on really early models but on the later ones its not there. Only the PCS++ has it.

so dont try to find out information until i can find it out myself? thanks but there is already a bunch of people talking about this, and there are people ON THIS THREAD saying there is no feature. Things change from advertised to production, there website hasn't changed either way.

Well it wont hurt to get one of them and see. The worst that can happen is the featuer is missing, and you can return to newegg, and if they give you the restocking fees rubbish, say they/PC were falsely advertising a dual bios switch. And can you link me to the review where it doesn't have the switch?

There's technically never been any proof that these unlock shaders, even the TPU review omitted proof. And afaik, unlocking referred to overclocking to 6970 levels and unlocking shaders was a gray area. The problem may be that we assume and expect since they used the term unlock that it meant shaders.
