It's too weak I think. 6970 pulls 300w ish full load, and double that in cfx.

Will the release of the 6990 affect the price of the 70s? I might wait and just throw one under water, then add one later... the 6950 was handling rift well and thats all I really play currently.....

They eat a lot of power. I'd be weary.

According to guru3d ~210 watt on a 6970.

You should think about that for a sec. 210w at full load? Really? Would that make it the single most efficient card in the world?

"The Radeon HD 6970’s average system power in this test is 321 W, while the GTX 570-based system consumes 329 W."

Hi guys, It seems there are few points not very clear.
I already posted this in TPU as well.

- PowerColor will offer free RMA service on both ways, no expenses from your side shipping. In US you can ask for a pre-paid shipping label.
- We will replace the card for a PCS++ or similiar performance card (HD6970)
- Please note this is vale for cards that have the issue of the locked shaders

Keep in mind the email address will be served from Taiwan, and was created just a day ago. So from now you should get a prompt reply.

Any more questions feel free to ask

Can anybody verify this as a legit PowerColor rep?
