Alright I've decided I'll just wait for the SB mobos to come back out. I'll probably just make a new thread of something. Thanks for all your help and I will consider all of these suggestions upon my 2600k build.

I need to be on this forum more often. I love the activeness and the quick replies.

get a 2X2 4GB DDR3 kit and get at least a 64GB SSD. Wait for the Vertex 3...coming out in the next month.

if i were you i would get a Lian-li k62 case to save about 80 bucks then toss that 80 bucks towards a gtx 580. everything else seem solid

EDIT: just saw your post on 2nd page, if you are only gonna be playing games on it, def drop that 12gb of ram to 6gb. and use the rest towards the GTX 580 like i mentioned above and get a better CPU cooler.

will be able to handle my build? I'm also considering to just buy 2 SSD's. One for the OS and one to frap into since I heard that frapping videos onto another drive other than the OS in it is faster. Would that mean it's even faster going into an SSD drive? I can put all my media files into my 1tb external that I already have.

Edit: Or just 1 SSD and use my external 1tb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227551
Or do RAID 0 and have faster both

Don't get a Corsair TX750. Firstly, as has been mentioned, 750W is ridiculous, and second, of all 750W units, the TX750 is really not a great idea. If you must have Corsair, get the TX750V2. The XFX Core 750W is the same unit as the TX750V2, but cheaper. The Antec TP-750 is an alternative and is just as good.
Realistically though, like I said, 750W is more than you'll ever need. Get a good 550W unit and you'll be all set.

Also, your first post mentions a GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. Make sure not to get that if you get a Sandy Bridge CPU, since it's not compatible.
