Ahh yes, that's no good. I'm no expert on PSU's, but look for SeaSonic, Antec, Corsair, and a few more brands that come to mind. Grab something in the 500-650W range and you're solid.

yea you could handle one card no problem. With 2 cards I would go with at least 700 watt.

Go my cards stable at 1.112V with 1000 on the core, 2000 on shaders and 2400 mem clock.

Unigine benchmark with no overclocking: FPS:
45.8
Scores:
1153
Min FPS:
14.6
Max FPS:
109.4

With my stable overclock:
FPS:
51.3
Scores:
1293
Min FPS:
17.4
Max FPS:
117.4

It was a bad run, was about 30.0fps stable until some **** happened so my fps went down to 17.4, didn't even notice it.

You guys are pretty bawlsy using 500w PSU's for this card. It must be right at the top. Not sure I would risk it.

Safe bet for this card is 650w.

Seems my gtx 560 ti is far from golden, though I read posts of others with even worse OCs. Below is my 100% rock solid OC, tested by looping test 2 of the 3dmark11 continuously for at least 10 minutes. If I ignore this stability test, at 1.000v I can hit a stable 950mhz running Heaven and the standard 3dmark11 p test, and a stable kombuster at 975mhz. Regardless of the voltage, I cannot get anything stable beyond 980Mhz.

IMO this myth needs to be crushed: 'you can reach 1000mhz with a 560'. I've read this too many times. I state this not out of disappointment (well maybe a little), but because it is misleading. I have seen several posts around the web about 560 owners who've bought a factory OC card only to find that the vendor (there is more than one) bumped the bios voltage to reach that OC, and in some cases even those cards fail their 'stock' OC within a few hours/days of use (and this even includes a few owners of the gigabyte SOC cards). But then again, there are the fortunate ones...

My results:

1.000V - 920/1840/1050
1.025V - 960/1920/1050
1.050V - 980/1960/1050
1.087V - 1000/2000/1150

Also, using 3DMark11 and Unigine to test for stability is weaksauce compared to Crysis/Warhead bench looped 10 times at 1920x1080 8xAA max settings. I get higher "stable" clocks with 3DMark11 and 3DMark06 but it crashes in Crysis.

Safe bet for this card is 650w.
One of the reviews of the card showed an OC'd 560 at ~450 system load under Kombustor, meaning a fair amount less for more realistic loads. As long as it's a quality 500W unit with enough amperage on the 12V rail, it should be fine. However, I would agree that something in the realm of 600W+ would be preferable for longevity's sake.

It's the VRMs that're holding you back. Get a set of MOSFET sinks and you should be able to hit 1GHz. People get excited when they see high OC numbers, that's where the misconceptions are coming from.

ive also got a frozr 2 and i cant for the life of me get it to 1ghz! (
its roack solid at 1.062mv and 950/1900/2250 ...im confused thought, it seemed quite viable to get this card to 1ghz ???
ive even installed the 267.26 beta drivers in case it was a driver issue...but still the same?! im using the crysis benchmark btw ......
