Nvidia GTX 560Ti Benchmark and Overclock Thread - Page 3

I'll get some of these when I need more headroom (but for now I'm satisfied):

They'll probably have to be trimmed down in height to fit...no big deal.

ive even installed the 267.26 beta drivers in case it was a driver issue...but still the same?! im using the crysis benchmark btw ......
Welcome to the 'almost a great 560' club! You are not alone, see my previous post.

I don't own crysis but I have an unlocked 3dmark11; its "Test 2" when looped really knocks the snot out of a gpu, suprisingly more so than its other tests.

Safe bet for this card is 650w.
Sli gtx 560 pull 300 watts at full load at stock clocks and volts. 500 watt is fine with one card brother.

So far pushed the oc to 975/1950/2200 at 1.1 volts. Runs so cool. 62c max. Cooler is amazing.

mmm don't know much about the 560s. How compare to a 570 or 6950? Price and performance.
How is the overclocking?

ok so ive been testing my card again tonight and what i find is very odd... it can get a stable OC@ 1.025v (standard) and i can get 930/1860/2400... but it just wont run stable crysis benchmarks above 960 no matter how much voltage i give it, i went up to the max just to see if it would run one loop but no, it still crapped out ( oh well i'll stick with what i have ! running at 71 degrees too ...........is that ok ???
ive watched the crysis benchmark so many times now i could probably draw it out frame by frame ! lol

You might wanna try lower memory clocks, that might help?

Doubt it though >.>

Hey guys, sorry to "hijack" your thread but i gotta ask some questions regarding your experience with the MSI cards :-).
First i've ordered two of the same cards, i've read plenty of great reviews. It seems though that after reading through both MSI and nvidias forums that there are many problems related to facotry OC models such as the twin frozr II/OC version.

First i wanted to ask you regarding a problem many people had with black screen during bootup in windows. It seemed like many lost connection to their screens from the first windows logo untill they had typed in their password blind. They would get a "your driver has stopped working and has been restored" popup.

Now this problem would only occur to those using dual screens. Since im planning to hook up 2 x 22 inch monitors i find it rather interesting if any of you have seen this aswell?

Another question is regarding your SLI setup. I've read that the Fermi based cards can have a monitor connected to each in a SLI combination, and in that way make sure that both cards downclock during idle time.
What way have you connected yours if you're running with a dual monitor setup?

Lastly there were alot of reports about people having to downclock their cards to the original stock clocks for a normal 560 to make it work in games like BF: BC 2.

For your information im planning to pair my two MSI gtx 560 with an i7 2600k, a Gigabyte p67 UD5 and 2 x 4 gb corasir vengeance 1600 MHz CL8 and a HX850 (seems like close to your system thepunisher892?

Hopefully that wasn't too many questions :-)
Looking forward to your answers and thanks in advance!
