A 60.00 game with dx9.Absolutely unheard of.There's your support.

They should have made it for the pc and ported it to console.That is support.

Crysis isn't even popular with console users,it's a well known pc game.They should have made c2 a pc only game,now that is support.They will probably sell more pc versions than console anyway.

It does actually. Would you film a movie in standard def, then upscale it to 1080p and slap it on a Bluray? No, you begin with the highest quality, and scale down. Otherwise it would look like arse. It's easy to reduce texture res, but impossible to truly add to it without redoing all of the games resources from scratch.

If you developed the game with only the PC in mind then you can be almost sure the consoles won't be able to run it afterward, it's not just about texture quality, the consoles wouldn't have enough RAM to load the levels, their CPU couldn't handle the number of AIs or the physics engine, that's why you have to develop first for consoles and then port the game with higher res textures and higher resolution.

They are not the ones marketing their game. They don't determine which platforms gets demos or not, or when they do. They don't really have control over that. They handle the technical aspects of the game, and that is it, EA handles the marketing. If you have a problem, talk to EA, simple as that.

If you start with a 800x800 texture, you will need to make an entirely new texture for a 1200x1200 (arbitrary #s) version. If you start with the 1200x1200 texture, you need to scale the size down to 800x800. If you develop for console, then have to make models more detailed for the PC, you effectively have to make all the resources twice.

It makes sense to develop for the most resource intensive game first, in my opinion.
