It does seem a bit entitled, but there are valid points being made about how a company handles its supporters even if it is being done in an immature or entitled manner.

None of those are game breakers, but we're not talking about some random game release. Crysis carries with it a very serious following of people expecting very specific things from the product. These are the people that made Crysis 1 so popular.
In situations like this, you would consider the release a white glove service where you cater to the desires of your market and make them want to bail on their rent and buy your game ASAP. They aren't in tune with or don't care about that segment of the market, and are doing a very poor job of mitigating the anger that has ensued from the way they handled the release, big deal or not in the long run.
I personally am not outraged, but can obviously sympathize with those who find Crytek to have missed the "effective demo" mark.
