Unlocking, CPU-Z shows me something interesting...

ok, so i ran cpu-z to check on something, and when i went to the mainboard section it said the SB was SB700, not SB710, like it is supposed to be....
my mobo is an MSI 785gtm-e45
cpu is phenom II 560
3gb ddr2 800mhz ram

anyone have any clue on what this means?
maybe its why i couldnt unlock cores.... i even have the latest BIOS update.... please help me here.....

mine says sb is sb700 too
still works just fine

unlocked x2 545 to x4 b45

i also have a 560 c3 that didnt unlock at all

still its a form of misleading since it was advertised and marketed to carry SB710..nonetheless same southbridge chips performs the same..i have 1 although mine correctly reads as SB710..

ffejrxx ur lucky, but i have the same problem with my 560, it wont unlock! but i think it could also be the mobo, its an msi 785gtm-e45...
btw i lowered my cpus voltages, cuz people were saying they were high for stock, its now at (cpu-z's readings) around 1.336V is this too low? is it bad? good?

1.336v is a little high for that cpu stock, should be around .9-1.4 if cool&quiet and c1e are enabled

my htpc build MSI 785GM-P45 with 560be
will not let me set the core v under 1.4
its fine, just idles a little warm

545 unlocks - Have two of theses both unlocked to 4 clocks stable 8 hours at 3.o on Prime - Can not overclock either
565 unlocks - Have two of these both unlocked to 4 cores stable 8 hours at 4.1 and 4.2
560 Have 1 it did not unlock purchased from newegg and will only OC to 3.8. Stable for 8 hours prime

This is a bug in cpu z.I have the same 785 g chipset with a gigabyte board and it says the same.

If you have advanced clock cal in bios, then it is indeed an sb 710 chipset.
