I really don't think Crytek are worried about frostbite 2.0 considering I highly doubt EA will allow anyone outside to use it. CryEngine though they're trying to market to everyone.
I really didn't see Frostbite 2 that amazing (some people claiming CryE 3 is blown away).
The only different thing I really saw it had over CE3 is that it has a more realistic default lighting (kinda white, overbright).
I don't think the ANT thingy for movement can't really be incorporated to CE3.. not sure about that though.
I am also very happy with DX9 Crysis leak performance.
never drops 30 FPS on my 4870 and looks really really good compared to a lot of games.
(with r_postMSAA 0 and fov 85 r_drawnearfov 65)
