So earlier today i used a windows 7 dvd i have and tried booting my new computer from that. Mid way through it had an error so i tried it again and got the same thing. I figured it was an old version of 7 so i downloaded a new one but now all it says when i try to boot from the dvd drive is "bootmgr is missing"
i tried a few times and got the same result, even tried usb and tried the old windows 7 that started the installation earlier but now it says the same thing. any ideas??

Reformat the hard drive. Make the cd drive boot 1st.
