Probably need to buy a cheap cooler as well though, but mine runs very cool compared to my other 775 dual cores. This will rarely go over 50 C after an overnight of Prime95/OCCT. I'll probably get flamed, but whatever. I'm running all my games maxed out, including Bad Company 2 and Crysis Warhead. I was told by everyone to ditch my system and go to SB, but it was just too pricey at the time. I know SB is much faster, and I'll build a new rig eventually, when I can afford better parts.
I agree with this.
He says he's got a 1333Mhz FSB on the 945 board. Hard to believe, but I suppose possible.
On the other hand, I doubt he's doing 3.6Ghz on the stock cooler with a 65nm CPU that isn't really capable of overclocking. I've never been able to get my E2200 or E2180 above 3.2Ghz.
If he's got it under or around 3.0Ghz, he MIGHT see a difference between an E5800 @ 4.0Ghz, which he could run with his stock cooler.
