How about this, any good?

It is about as far as I can go budget wise. Worth the extra over 4 gig or CL9?

It is 109 euros.

For RAM-intensive programs high speed/low timings is a yes. 8GB I also recommend, but do NOT get a 1333 CL9 1.65V kit, whatever. 1333 CL9 1.5V is fine but still not performance-optimal; you should be able to get a 1600 kit for a good price.

So the one I posted just before is ok?

Oh and do I need a seperate heat sink, or is the one that comes with the CPU ok.

Well anyway, thanks to all, especially xd_1771 on the motherboard advice. Probably saved me a lot of pain and I was able to find a good one from your list (8+2 with good vrm and all that) for only 15 euros more than I was spending.

Anyway, consider this my one and only bump to maybe get an answer to my last question posted before. No biggie, only if you guys have time

1. Is my power supply enough to crossfire? I know it doesn't have enough 6pins to power 2 Sapphire Toxic cards, but is there away to use adapters to get more 6pins out of it?

I would say getting a 750 watts would be more ideal

2. My motherboard is a bit low cost I know, but does that really matter? I checked all the stuff it has and it doesn's seem to be missing anything that I need.
Just dont go to the extreme's with it

3. Which of my ram options are better? Why would 2x4 cost less? And is more than 4 gig recommended given that I want to use photoshop etc?

2x4 GB for future expansion

4. I did so much research on GPUs. I figure the best option is to get a 6850, clock it up a bit to close to 6870 levels. Seem realistic? Would it be worth the money to get a 6870?

6850 is good choice.

5. Am I missing anything if I want to build myself from scratch. I will buy Windows 7 when I order. But am I forgetting anything, like, I assume the cpu comes with heatsink etc. Let me know because I haven't built from scratch in a while.

Retail versions of CPU's comes with heatsink. But I do recommend an aftermarket cooler if you planning to overclock. Even something a coolerlmaster hyper 212+ will do.

Might get a decent heatsink then, I wont overclock right away, but I would like to be able to.

Hey when my ram says;

DDR3 1600Mhz PC12800 8GB Exceleram Rippler CL7 1.65V (2x4GB)
Timings 7-9-9-24.

Does that mean it will be running at cl7 as long as I dont overclock it?

So this is my updated build. Think I changes the MOBO, Ram and added a heatsink.

1 x Antec Three Hundred€ 57.00

1 x Corsair CMPSU-650TXEU 650W€ 79.00
(Read around and think this will be enough for crossfire 6850's later on down the track)

1 x ASROCK AM3 880G Extreme3€ 81.60
(Read great things about this board for the price and it is on the list of safe boards with good VRM from this forum)

1 x SEAGATE 1.5TB ST31500341AS 7200rpm 32MB Barracuda 7200.11€ 65.00

1 x DVD-RW Samsung SH-S223C Black SATA€ 25.00

1 x DDR3 1600Mhz PC12800 4GB G.Skill ECO CL7 (2x2GB)€ 69.00
(Decided to get lower CL ram and only 4gig. I will get another 4 gig if I get more freelance work that requires heavy photoshoping)

1 x AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2GHz 6x512KB Black Edition AM3 Thuban 125W BOX€ 164.00

1 x Corsair Air Series A50 775/1366/1156/AM2/AM3€ 27.50
(Is it worth an extra €8 or so to get the A70 if I am only planning on doing some light overclocking. I won't be pushing anything to the limit as it would be my first time OCing)

1 x ATI EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 1024MB ASUS Radeon PCI-E,2xD,HDMI,DP,A€ 155.00
(I read that this is a great overclocker)

1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM€ 97.00
(Yay! More money for microsoft, but seriously would like to set up a duel boot with Linux, but have to read more about it.)

And one tiny side question. When a mobo spec says;
Supports DDR3 1800(OC)/1600(OC)/1333/1066/800 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
Does that mean I have to OC something to allow my 1600ram to run at full speed?

I do recommend 8GB of RAM still, and with an x6 and that board etc. you should be able to run 8GB of ECOs with no problem
And are you sure you can't get a better case? I.e. something with decent cable management

You do not need to OC anything to run 1600Mhz RAM, just set the memory multi to x8. It is often undocumented.
