Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 - Page 3

I got my e7400 up to 3.5ghz. I imagine that the e7500 can do the same. I will be finding out when I get new motherboard.

I am using an EVGA NForce 730i Mobo, the RAM is nothing special 800MHz DDR2 ram, 4gb, 2*2 sticks. In my BIos im using the Systems Voltages area for the Volts, and the FBS and Memory Timings area for the FBS and Mem Frequencies. There is no more lag, Just had to reinstall the drivers, but now the Speeds are stock.

I've gotten my CPU up to 3.85 but i think the drivers made it begin to lag, I could try to reapply the settings, i wouldnt go above 1.4625 V for the CPU and FBS will be at 1450MHZ i think

I would guess that the 730i mobo would clock a little better than my P35. But you should be able to get that processor up to 3.5ghz

1.46V still seems too high...may be a dangerous voltage for daily use... are you sure you can't get to 3.8Ghz with ~1.3V? For such a high FSB you need to set the RAM multiplier in 1:1, or it may start to crash the system.

Okay so at 1.37 V i got this
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1690248
Now, without bumping the volts, how can you increase the speeds? the FBS is at 1400Mhz and the ram is at 820
