Their answer to my inquiry before you told me to call them.

56GBP's is even less than what the reseller is offering me.
I'll be sure to call XFX when the weekend is over.

I'll start from when I got the conclusion that my card indeed is very likely to have been bricked (I figured I would make sure, even though it would go bust under load in under 20 seconds).

As you have experienced the graphical issues with the one graphics card when tested in multiple systems, it may well be faulty. Therefore we recommend contacting your reseller because they are responsible for the warranty of the product. Kind regards, Shaun.

Which is not in the same performance range, nor does it help me because I was running a crossfire setup of two identical XFX 4890 XXX`s, one of which is still working just fine in my computer currently. I have read in many cases of RMA`s that the manufacturer even takes the card that is still fine in case of a crossfire setup with one faulty card, and returns a card that is similar or close to in performance of the two cards combined by means of crossfire. The reseller however says that this is not the case if the card I have left here is not broken. I thought I would check in with the manufacturer themselves to verify.

So I`m neither happy with the situation of me losing a perfectly fine gaming computer, nor that I`m being forced to pay money to either of two companies (the reseller, where I bought it, and manufacturer, who branded it) to get the same performance back. If there is anyone I could call about this situation (namely, a superior), then I would very much appreciate a telephone number. Note that I`m not from the U.K. but I have no problem making an international call.

Your warranty is solely with them, so they should be helping to sort this out without charge. We on the otherhand are not legally obliged to help here so the upgrade service is all we can offer. Hope all goes well, however if any queries or problems please keep us posted. Kind regards Paul

And asides that all they can do is offer me credit for it. Which is roughly 80,- less than what I paid for my card when I bought it two years ago.
So they're not giving me a number, and the number I see on their site is UK only. So basically the only chance I have left now is to call my reseller, and explain them the story, again, but in an actual conversation this time.

Good to see that I'm not being taken care of by XFX, that's one manufacturer out of the door for me.

Wow XFX really that tough about RMAs? Good luck on getting them sold or replaced though.

Thank you

First quote in the post right before yours says exactly what they said to do with my RMA. I'll be calling the reseller either tomorrow or next week depending on when I have the time. We'll see what they have to say. You'd expect them to be a bit more gentle when it comes to things like this, especially when you've made over 3.600,- Euro's worth of purchases in the past 3 years.
