5870 Eyefinity Crysis v Crysis 2 Benchmarks

With Crysis 2 coming out soon, and the fact that I just picked up a new Sapphire HD5870 2GB Eyefinity Edition, I decided to do some Crysis benchmarks that I can later compare with Crysis 2. It is a bit ironic that I finally have a GPU good enough to max out a game that came out 4 years ago, lol

Check back for Crysis 2 comparison and review after the game is released.

I had my 5870 CF have a go at 5760x1080, and it did well, I was running smoothly under high settings 40's, I just hope Crysis 2 isn't such a coding mess as Crysis 1 was... there is a reason it performed so terribly.

I did some overclocking & stress testing today and I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the cooling and OC capabilities of this card. I was able to easily push the card to the BIOS max of 900/1300MHz using MSI Afterburner... the max temprature I saw was 59C while running Furmark. While playing Black Ops and the Crysis 2 demo it seemed to run around 50C, maxing out at 55C.

I only have a single 19" (1440x900) monitor at the present time, so pushing the card further is just even more overkill. Although, I have read that flashing these cards with the ASUS 5870 2GB BIOS will enable clocking higher than 900/1300MHz... I would venture to say that this card can push a lot more than that on a single monitor, lol

I tried to flash my sapphire 5870 eyeinfinity with the Asus bios and I got no video! Just saying what happened to me.
