Remote turn on?

Thread Starter
I have a case that came with an infra red remote control power switch. It was hard wired to the PSU when I got it, but I have since swapped out all of the components including the PSU and I am trying to figure out how to wire up the remote turn on lead.

There is an infrared sensor on the front of the case, and it has three wires that come out of it. Two of them connect to a 2 pin header that connects to the PWR ON switch on the mobo. The other is hard wired to the PSU to provide the sensor power when the pc is powered down.

Which wire on the PSU should I tap into? Here is the only pic I have of the system before I pulled it all apart. Unfortunately, the spot where it taps into the PSU is obstructed by all of the wires, but I thought I would post the pic anyhow. The second pic has the wire that I am talking about labeled with a red arrow.

It needs to tap into the 5VSB wire, which is usually the purple wire on the motherboard 24-pin harness. You may also need a ground, which can be any black wire.

Strange, most HTPC cases like this come with a 24-pin pass-through to use.
