So we are thinking of picking up Hitachi 320 GB G Series External Hard Drive with 400/800 Firewire.

http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CEAQ8wIwAA#
Would you guys be interested in picking up one? At what price?

Who know's maybe free shipping included if we get a good response from OCN.

im a relative pc newb. working on a comp tech certification. however what ive seen working in a distribution company seagate is good, however they have kind of slipped over time and western dig has seemingly picked up the slack and i see a hell of alot of wd harddrives sold as apposed to seagate. i would definitely give the edge to wd. enough to where it seems to be more of a reliability issue than a marketing trend. i also know nothing about hitachi

100 bucks for 320 Gb? No way.

I have a 320Gb little"passport" that I think only cost me 60 bucks.

Hey Everyone we wouldn't be selling these external drives for more than $100 we are just using Google Shopping as an example.

These are on clearance so we would like to know.

I will buy a Samsung Spinpoint F4 for storage but I can not vote for Samsung? I know it has been take over but I think it should be more specific to be serious. There are good and bad drives form all 4 (or 2hairysmiley.png) of them. If there are better( reliability) for video (decoder recorder) please make suggestionswink.gif
