If you really need to stay low price, get this one

you wouldn't happen to know of a modular PSU in that price range would you?

From the overclockersclub review.
"Even when it was paired against the Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced, the Dragon Slayer held on strong and even coming ahead in parts of the temperature tests."

edit: Guess I was slow to post this.
Basically, just get whichever one you think looks/feels better
lol yeah thanks but i'll make up my mind once i get the build to $500.

it looks good but i'd prefer getting a modular PSU because i wouldn't want unused cables obstructing the airflow in an already small case... know of any modular 1s?

I have never had any problems with Seagate drives; although I prefer Western Digital drives. That specific drive, personal, I have no experience with so I cannot say.

Here's my suggestions:

Athlon II X3 Rana 455 3.3GHZ + PNY 2x2GB 1600-8-8-8 kit

500GB 7200RPM Seagate

Apply:

500GB 7200RPM Seagate

Optical Drive

Apply:
EMCKGKG27 Discount From Promo Code -$10.50

Or some similar combination of parts.

If you decide to go with the biostar you like, check out this 6850:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131374
(since the biostar isn't available in a combo)

Oh.... on the hard drive. The spinpoint F3 is $55 right now
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185 May want to swap that in instead of the 500GB drive I mention above...

If you want a REALLY good modular PSU at a great price:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-016-_-Product
The OCZ I mention above is a very reasonable unit, I'd take it over the raidmax any day. The Antec for $65 is hard to beat, even at a higher price.

Whatever you do, at least keep the Biostar TA890GXE. It's the best mATX board out there right now for AMD. Might not support Crossfire or USB 3.0 but the quality is there.

Also be careful if you get the NZXT Vulcan. I had problems with my tower cooler (Hyper 212+) in it. As in it would not fit.

I would suggest this instead of a tower cooler inside the Vulcan:

If you wanna save some more cash, there's an XFX GTS 250 on sale again. It should get you by.
