[Androidized] Unity Makes Porting iOS Games to Android Much Easier

Thread Starter
Since iOS was the main mobile platform from the beginning, it still has a lot more games than Android, and part of the reason was that it wasn’t so easy to port iOS games to Android, either because developers would have to convert to Java code, or because the Native Development Kit wasn’t mature enough.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I have an iPhone right now and am thinking about going to Android. This would be nice so I don't have to buy all those games again.

Is it only me that finds it ironic how everyone slates Apple and the iOS. But really, they just want what the iOS has, but in a 'non Apple' package.

Apps aren't made by Apple.

You missed my point.

Android users want the apps that iOS has, but they don't want to buy an Apple product in order to use them.

So all of that moaning they do about Apple, and all along they just want to have the Apple content without having the Apple hardware.

That is in no way, an attack on Android. It is just an observation.

Yea, I have no idea as to why the hate on apple.

Back on topic: It will only work with apps made with Unity, and according to them there are only 1000 apps with it. So you might be only be able to port one, maybe two, apps.

Long story short, people want iOS apps to run simultaneously

I get what your saying plus people just want the freedom of Android too.

I don't want the OS, or what it "has". If I wanted what it has I would have got an iOS device. Some of the great games which are a benefit of iOS at the moment I would like.

I'll take Android any day over iOS without a second thought. Games or no games.
