The Adams I'm thinking of do stop at 60Hz, but I think the store guy mentioned a way to plug them to some adam subwoofer.
Yeah. If the subwoofer's amp has line input/output it will be pretty easy. Only 2 cables needed.

Should be pretty easy to add a sub.

Theres actually a budget priced setup that's recommended a lot on head-fi, but I cannot for the life of me remember the company. All I can remember is that it is audioengine or swan.

I can only speak from experience.

Since you live in Canada you might want to check out Paradigm's website.

I'm using their Signature S2 series bookshelf with their PDR-80 subwoofer for serious 2.1 music listening.

I think the Swans are recommended a lot since the Audioengine's sound is colored.

I just don't know where to audition the swans in Montreal...

I'm having trouble finding the Signature S2 series. Could you point me up to a link?

There's a "where to buy" link on the main page, I typed in Montreal's Ciy Hall postal code, H2Y 1C6 and I got these results,

368 RUE STE CATHERINE OUEST

1112 MONT ROYAL EST

1170 STE. CATHERINE STREET W.

I would highly recommend you sample the speakers in person if possible.

I haggled mine (piano black v.3) to $1550 cash/pair used from someone online that lived near my area.

As for retail prices you will have to call your local dealer or check various online forums. Here are a few links to get a general idea for the S2's:

Don't say that, lol. It's been a week since he started the sale. Maybe he is dropping price because he is desperate for cash?
