What is the ambient room temp? Is your cable management good? What are you using for cooling? There are a lot of contributing factors.
you need some better cooling quick... thats WAY too hot for that cpu. ...

try bumping your FSP to 250 and check what clocks you can get. I can get 4ghz 250x16 at stock.

Over 62 degress is considered dangerous for the chip. I personally try to keep it at least below 55, usually even less.

Sounds like you need a better cooler if you want to run it this high.

Lucky... I can get mine stable at 3.96 on my C3 at stock voltage 220x18 maxing at 45C.
Anything I do to push past 4.0 crashes within 10 minutes of large FFTs.

Tips?

Thats cool, maybe having a good mobo is what does it, idk.
I was able to be sully stable on prime at 3.7, but I would get crashing during games, brought it down to 3.6 and it was fine.

Mine is actually 20 multi 200fsb. Stable prime for 8 hrs and 8 hrs of occt while on stock volts it is feasable
