What's the point of a $540 tablet if you can't even leave your house to get internet access? However, considering the 3G price is $800, I'd say it's well justified enough already.

Some of us can just tether it to our phones

He's saying "WOW! That's a low price!" over and over again, if that helps.

What are the 1000 reasons this is better then the ipad?

What's the point of netbooks, laptops, and all the other media tablets that just have wi-fi? Don't forget the fact that there a lot more places than just your house that has wi-fi and the number of places is growing.

This. Why should I spend another $260 for the 3G along with paying for another data plan when I could just tether it to my phone?

Anyone else think this guy would make a good Commander Shephard for a Mass Effect movie?

I seriously thought it was the guy they used to model Commander Shepard when I saw the commercial the other day. So yes, I agree.
