I had the U2410 also awesome screen. One thing that is very different on the U2311 is, its much thinner than the U2410. I'd say at least 1/2 inch or even maybe a full inch thinner than the U2410...

lol, i dont think some people understand what backlight bleed is

in any case, for what it's worth, after having owned 2 u2311h's and 1 u2410, i can confidently say the HP ZR24w is a superior monitor in terms of color, gaming, tint/backlight issues (non-issues), and just overall feel/build quality

that might be true koven, but u can get 2 u2311h for the price of that monitor haha

Not to mention the HP is obviously not 2x the monitor.

Have you calibrated those monitors? TFT and FlatpanelsHD contradict that assessment.

From the HP ZR24w review: "Picture quality has a lot of positive elements and the sRGB mode is quite good, because of good factory settings. Color reproduction in practice is impressive as well but a tad below Dell U2410."
