If the Official heaven thread is updated I will switch my scores and screenshots over to it and close this one though!
I've never seen a benchmark yet where the standard is 1920 x 1080. Usually the standard is the default setting, most are 1280 x 1024, although the standard for heaven bench is normally 1680 x 1050.
A lot of folks don't have monitors that support 1920 x 1080.

Pretty pointless running tessellation on normal on a tessellation benchmark - run it on max.
This.

That's why I never participate in these graphics benchmarks threads. Run it at max or don't even bother. Running at anything other than max is just a nod to the AMD 5000 series guys.
Finally an update

Pfft. Like an AMD 5000 series guy is going to back down from that challenge (regardless of how disasterous the score will be ).

I'll throw up my scores from both normal and max.

Running at normal:

Running at max:

Running 1920x1080p simply because that's what my monitors resolution is. If you want me to run a lower resolution to bench against others with lower resolutions feel free to ask.

Good deal.

I'll post some up when I get home. Mind rerunning at 1680x1050?

Okay because I wanted to run on a lot of my cards just for comparison but they're all DX10/DX10.1. I already ran a bunch of tests on Heaven 2.1 HERE.

Looks like I'll have to download 2.5 and run again for comparison. Will be interesting to see the difference. I'll also run my 4890 as well.

Also, it should be said that anyone here can run any of the resolutions available in the benchmark, you just have to uncheck the "fullscreen" option. My 22" is only 1680x1050 yet I've run several 1920x1080 for comparison just be unchecking the "fullscreen" option.
