You must be joking. Internet only cloud based computing is very much going to be the future... If anything you should be in line with this as it is a very apple-esq idea... Cloud computing is the ultimate expression of a not having to set anything up, "it just works" device. Seriously??? Netbooks are dead in favor of what??? MBP? lol.

If I could buy a Windows pc with an Apple shell, I would. They make good looking cases.

One of the things I love about PCs is that I can build/upgrade the hell out of them. That's not to say you can't with Mac, but the range of possibilities is far superior with a PC. This whole "post pc" bs is just like the "doa" comment he made a few months back. It'll be forgotten soon enough.

Good read about the 2011 gaming market forecast.

While the customization ability of the PC is it's advantage it is also it's disadvantage because they forgot to factor in the fact that people are generally stupid.

Ever wonder why many the things we use require one button press? Because anything more and people will get thrown into confusion. The only reason why Windows has a place on the smartphone market because it's simplified.

This is where Apple has succeeded and PC has failed. The PC is too complicated, from retail store, to the setup at home, the OS, how to get online, how to get updates, it's overwhelming for the average person.

I've been a PC user and builder for almost 10 years and I can see outside the box on why Apple is where it's at today. Unless there is a drastic change in the usability of the PC it will always trail Apple.
