Who says an Apple is comparable to an Audi A6? Bias is also in the analogy. Why cannot the PC be a Bugatti Veyron?

Guys, this is true for your every day consumers. We are "Enthusiasts" and just like every hobby in this world we do not make up 99% of the population. Only some people have the expertise to argue and introduce others with interest. Apple does only need to make sure their customers are happy because they have their fan base. We want more out of our stuff just like Car tuners and Extreme Sport pros.

They may have jump started the tablet market again but it is hardly revolutionary. They pretty much just enlarged the ipod touch, nothing more. They make decent products(especially laptops) but they aren't the be all to end all products the mindless drones make them out to be. On that note android 3.0 also looks to be far better than the hyper restrictive ios.

It's not about doing it first, It's about doing it best.

Sounds like Apple's philosophy to me

Here at apple we would like our customers to be as dumb as possible so we can use the cheapest hardware and mark it up enormously to boost our profits. We like to think that what you don't know won't hurt you.

Microsoft wanted consumers to be stupid enough to use Windows Vista.

Yep, Apple customers are so dumb right? Go to apple forums and PC forums and look up “post your car” threads. On the apple forums you will find BMWs, Audis, etc. On the PC forums you will find Mazda Miatas, Chrysler Lebarons, and camaros.

In short: rich guys buy Apple, normal people use PC. Sounds pretty logical, considering how Apple prices its computers.

So in essence their rich enough that they toss money away without thinking about whether it's a good deal or not. Oh right, that wasn't the point you were trying to make

There are plenty of frugal, smart, and rich people out there that probably have the common sense to realize when they're getting played.
