gtx 460 freezing 3dmark vantage

ok so im clocked right now at 880/1760/2080 at 1.050 voltage (1.037 stock) via msi afterburner. Ive been trying to get 900 but everytime i do, it crashes vantage...im sure it would crash games aswell. My idle temp is 24c while my load temp is only 49c!!! i raised my fsb to 490mhz instead of 428mhz where i was able to get 900mhz from the card with a 300 gpu point score raise and cpu did not change at all (not worth the added stress on the motherboard). Can someone explain what is going on, why should my fsb have anything to do with gpu stability?

hmmm..there is something regarding to stability that affected results..sometimes a PUSH is not guaranteed to be beneficial sometimes it causes harm..check for overall stability..sometimes temps too help..in your case maybe a higher bus frequency is the magic..but i doubt it has a relation to FSB..IMHO maybe you just need to raise a specific voltage setting..let me ask if you raised any voltage setting in relation to making the FSB 490??

take my advice with a grain of salt..if you're sure its 100% reliable..
