I know what you mean. I never liked Apple, but that changed the other day when I bought an iPad because of the price drop.

Jobs and his RDF... seriously hordes of sheep will come flocking after any announcement of Apple's latest iDevice, like a bunch of cultists. Hardly any real technical stuff were even mentioned in Jobs' key points.

I bet if Andy Rubin were to present the iPad, he'd be spewing CPU clock speeds, RAM capacity instead of vague highlights like a Retina Display.

I read through the first page of responses here and am wondering how you call this guy a fanboy? He brings legitimate reasons and facts to counter Steve Jobs. Sounds like a good reporter to me, not a fanboy.

I've never liked Apple. I respect that they have a successful company and can sell their products, but I still don't like them.

They went with cutsie with their product that had colorful plastic on the outside of their monitor. Barf. They toted it up when advertising it because all the PCs were beige. I didn't hear anything about specs after about a year because they didn't upgrade their product using the new tech like Dell does when Intel came out with another chip.

They tout a product that is really overpriced in my opinion. I'd rather buy something else that performs better and I can upgrade with what I want and run what I want instead of being stuck with something they made.

They do tout a better security on their products but I don't think there really is any profit to hacking their desktop products because the PC market is more prevelent. Sure you have less people attacking your product with viruses and such but if you don't have the same market saturation as your competetion, why bother trying to infect your products.

I just feel they are/have been a bit misleeding in their products so I don't take what they say at face value. Always research what a company is trying to feed you, sometimes it can be a whole lot of BS.

Apple is Apple, always been this way, always will be because Steve Jobs can't stand it that there are competitors out there doing far better than him.....in less than 2 years Android has gained more than double the market share of the iphone and now controls over 30% market share.

Not that i would ever own an apple product anyways. I look for the day that Apple gets killed off by the duo of Google and Microsoft.

Everyone knows Apple, and Apple fanbois will overlook anything that defies their beliefs.

Good article, but it wont make a difference in anything.

Liking Apple products =/= fanboy

You look a lot less stupid once you realize that Apple actually makes good products, and say, stop being a fanboy of the pointless Apple hate because it's popular.

Also, who would wish Jobs dies? That's just a sick comment.

Of course not, but a vast majority are mindless elitists. They think it's the best but don't really know of anything else out there. Apple products are decent but they arn't the best.
