[CVG]Remedy: Alan Wake PC cancellation wasn't our call - Page 2

Either that, or they were forced to make tailor their code to the 360, making the pc version not worth porting?

Well either way, we were looking forward to it.
But then we got shafted.
But then it sucked.

So in the end, the company ended screwing themselves over by taking a chance in pursuit of greed.
PC community seems to forgive easily. But the question is... Lesson learned?

Seriously LOL

How does this work out?

LOL

But I must admit Alan Wake was going to be THE Crysis with it's tech demo...

I must say, PC gamers missed out that didn't play it... I really enjoyed.

Honestly, I don't even remember playing it. Only that I did.
Maybe because you were super pissed.

Alan wake is really the only game which makes the xbox360 stand out. Rest of xbox games are complete BS and online community is Call of duty which also on PC. I wish somebody in MS games division gets some sense and make a PC version of this game. This game has lots of tech that none of the current games even Crysis doesn't have. As far as i know this is only console games which runs without a hick-up even there are lots of things happening on the scene.

Microsoft's sack of money is what stopped them from making a PC version and nothing else.

If the Zero Punctuation review on it is anything to go by I'm not missing much.

Hmm, this might have been why the game wasn't as good as lots of people hoped. If they did have trouble developing it for console, I'd guess it was difficult to squeeze their ideas in to the 360 hardware. I remember back in 2005 or something being stunned by a trailer for the game, but it was probably run on PC at the time. In any case, I think Remedy probably could have fulfilled their potential much better if they developed it on PC..
