Asus DCII 570 & Crysis instability

Thread Starter
I just dusted off Crysis for a while (now that I can actually play it the way it was meant to be), and played ~45m before the game locked up on me and I had to force close it. I figured as I had just moved into the full-snow level from the alien base/zero g level that it was my graphics card failing due to my overclock - 850/1700/2202, but I was not notified of a driver crash and my temps were 5C lower than they maxxed out in Kombustor. Even still, I tried my lower overclock, 800/1600/2050 and restarted the level. I crashed in almost the exact same spot. Frustrated, I dropped my card back to stock (742/1484/1900), and managed to get past that spot. However, I then had the exact same crash on the next level (On the Aircraft carrier).

Each crash had the game freeze up for a very short moment, the screen black out, and then my monitor flashed like it had just changed sources. Both overclocks were stable in Kombustor when I tried them, and like I said, the highest overclock had lasted 30-45 minutes before the crash occured.

Where should I be looking and what should I be trying to figure out if this is bad programming in Crysis (we all know the game isn't optimized for anything) or there's an actual issue with my card? The crash at stock speeds worries me.

I'll do a 1 hour+ run in kombustor tomorrow morning, but is there anything else I should be trying?

P.S. Everything is at stock voltage- 0.962v since Afterburner won't adjust it and I don't feel like dealing with Smartdoctor until I have to.

Can you change V in Asus Smart Doctor? I can't even see what's the stock one. Version 5.72 of program. As for Crysis - my friend had problems with it on stock GTX580 (no OC) - this game has issues sometimes, unfortunately.
