I've been waiting on BD for some time now (as we all have) and i know its Q2 2011 but the lack of a specific date annoys me to no end.

So heres my question to OCN,

Pull the hairpin trigger on this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.616757 or wait for BD to crawl its slow dirt pushing self down the block?

Wait, you waited this long, so wait another month or so. Why not? SB you know what your getting though and its nice. BTW, Like your build coming up there. We are matched in PSU, and case, you got me by a wee bit on graphics though, I think.

Nah. Its been April since the end of last year from what I have heard. And thats mainly what I have seen on this site. But SB will not disappoint. And you can always sell it off and go DB BD if you want.

Edit: Lol, WTH is DB? Dirty Bridge? Oh no, Dirty Bit! bauw bauw bauw bauw.

Either buy the sandy bridge system now or wait for what will likely be comparable performance. I can't forecast whether it'll be better or worse, but I don't see it stunningly outclassing the Intel offering, unless you're into heavy industry-style workloads.

If all you're after is something to game on, you won't be disappointed by a 2500k. Once overclocked, it'll play anything you can ever throw at it, and should do so for many years to come. Just make sure the motherboard is the B3 stepping.

Im with him man. Dont expect BD to come out and blow away SB. And if it does expect to PAY UP for it. Cuz thats the way it goes.

Looks like a nice board. I love MSI's BIOS. Easy to navigate.
