Hello everyone,
Just ordered some parts for my new Sandy bridge build. This is my first ever build and I'm moving up from a netbook.

Parts ordered and on the way:

Video Card: Sapphire HD 6850

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz Kit

Hard Drive: 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3

Wireless Card: Asus wireless network adapter

DVD Drive: Liteon 24x

Power Supply: Corsair TX-650

Parts still needed and about to be ordered:

Case: Coolermaster Storm Scout

Processor: i7 2600k

Motherboard: Gigabyte P67 UD4 B3 (new with SATA fix)

Everything looks pretty good. What do you plan on doing with your rig? Video editing, gaming , ect? 8GB is alot of ram thats why I ask.

For an extra 10-15 dollars you can get CORSAIR HX Series 650HX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139012 Its modular and will help with cable managment.

If you plan on adding another video card to crossfire or sli in the future you will want a little more juice like a quality 750-850 psu.

Other than that, its a very nice build. Post some pics once you finish it

It just a basic rig for video editing, slight gaming. I can't buy from newegg since I'm from Australia but thanks anyway!

Just ordered the i7 2600k and the Gigabyte P67 UD4 B3 motherboard! All the parts will turn up this week and I will post some pictures. So excited!

The Ram, Graphics Card, Wireless Adapter and Power Supply just turned up at my local post office!
I will go pick them up and take pictures when my dad gets home.

Just came home with everything apart from a case. Gonna start to build it on the weekend. Pictures will be uploaded when I take them. Can't wait!

Where did you order your motherboard?
I don't see gigabyte boards availble anywhere yet?
