If you compare the complexity of Windows to ANY other piece of software you buy, you will find it is priced quite reasonably. You can generally get a copy for under $100 if you don't get Ultimate/Pro.

Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer. At all. Why does anyone still use that crap!? In uni, I can't install programs, so I just use a portable version of opera... so much better, I'm actually using it right now.

they just dont know that there is anything else. i've seen old people's computers. they have ie6 with like 1 million toolbars. pretty gross.

and it was even worse because he had his screen set to 1024 x 768 the whole time and never knew. i looked at his screen and was like...hey this isnt right, and i changed it to whatever resolution it was. it's amazing how much people dont care and dont know about stuff.

Too bad IE8 isn't all that good either. Far better than IE7, but still not great.

I got that by disabling all the stuff that is disabled in Iron. The difference is that I can enable it again if I want to, but you can't. Iron is Chrome with less choice, basically.

I've never really understood why people think that Windows is overpriced either. When it costs me $90 to buy the latest rehash of CoD and it will only be good for 5-10 hours, the 3+ years I get out of Windows makes it seem inexpensive in comparison.

Shocking numbers in S. Korea...Those guys usually try to be quite ahead with things.
Your right, Every hotel I go and stay sitll has IE6 and the bars I go to when computers are used as DJ's have the app. It's just people don't know how to upgrade or just lazy. I work in a job that has the oldest version of Oracle and barely keeps up with IE7. Of course it's the Military funding.
