Which card to go?

Thread Starter
I am working on a new build, parts in sig, and will be running a single GPU due to my resolution 1650 x 1080.

A little future proofing would be nice.

GTX 580 is my choice so far...Should I wait to see what the 7000 series cards are like or go for the 580?

a 580 is complete overkill.
I would get a 570, or even a 560 TI.

If a 580 is overkill now...that is what I call future proofing. Lol.
